Look and Learn.Images in Transplantation is a monthly feature of journal-based continuing medical education (CME), brought to you by AJT. Edited by Matthew H. Levine and Sandy Feng, Images in Transplantation takes a case-based approach, providing you the opportunity to explore images illustrating a clinical problem and enhance your knowledge by answering CME questions. Each activity has clear educational objectives and provides the opportunity for you to earn 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ upon completion of the activity online.
Images in Transplantation activities provide Category I CME and self-assessment credits toward Part 2 of the ABS MOC Program and/or on the CME section of the activity.
ABS Diplomates can also apply to the AMA to receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for certification or recertification by the ABS or another ABMS board. The AMA awards 60 credits for certification or recertification after September 1, 2010, and 25 credits prior to that date. See the AMA website and direct CME application (pdf) for details; the number of credits awarded for an activity is determined solely by the AMA.
Diplomates who obtain certification or recertification from another ABMS board may use this toward the ABS' CME requirements, but must obtain the AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for it as documentation. See the ABS site for details.
